Growing up in the inner city streets of NYC, our owner Suheiri Rodriguez did not allow the adversities that came with being a young minority woman keep her down. Even with the diversity she experienced as a foster child from the age of 7 until 21, she used her story to not only motivate herself but others. She has now found herself to steer away from all stereotypes that came affiliated with her age, race, ethnicity and culture in the hopes of motivating her community of Washington Heights to be better. Her main idea is to earn locally and spend locally. Support each other when no one else will. Her daily mantra is "You have the opportunity to be successful, if you give being successful an opportunity." We hope that each product gives someone a sense of belonging and reason to do more whether that is for themselves or someone else.
